Marcin Szczepaniak

Leveraging an MBA with 7+ years in financial services and technology companies, Marcin excels at optimizing operations and building relationships within the industry. In May 2024, Marcin joined IHT as a Business Development Associate on the Executive Leadership Team. At IHT, he assists with efforts in recruiting tenured Financial Advisors to join IHT Wealth Management to expand our local and national presence. He works with the Dudash Team in downtown Chicago to source, negotiate, and acquire books of business.

Marcin attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), obtaining a degree in Political Science and Economics. He began his financial services career in 2016, as an Intern at Northwestern Mutual. He enrolled in the MBA program at UIUC Gies College of Business in 2017, and after graduating, Marcin started Carnocycle Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Provider. After exiting from Carnocycle Logistics, Marcin went on to join the operations team at M1 Finance in 2021, a Fin-Tech robo-advisory investment platform with brokerage accounts and banking services. As a Team Lead at M1 Finance, he worked on establishing operating procedures for new offerings and working cross-collaboratively across the company to ensure alignment.

Marcin holds a Series 7, 66, and 24 license. Marcin resides in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. He enjoys bouldering, long-runs on the Lake Michigan lakefront, Chicago’s music scene, and is on the quest to find the tastiest burger in Chicago.
